More minor changes and bug fixes

Girls are a bit bigger on the girl screen, they bounce around a bit but overall they seem to be okay at the larger size.  I think that is a good thing.  Still really need a better fix for the info box.  Also more bugs fixed and added.

Working Version

Had to throw up a working version.


First Look at Card Changes

First look at the copied cards and stat changes showing on the girl as it happens.

Float over still works and planning to add for the room jobs so that you can see what they are as the action fires.

Yes its not functional for the actual change yet, but I had to share.  Also all the credit for the idea goes to Koffii all the crappy implementation goes to me.

Text #showchange

A minor change on how the #showchange is displayed another suggestion by Koffii.  Lots of little changes to make the game better for the user have been coming through the pipe line now that there has been a release oh and some bug fixes.

Expect this to be the pattern for a while.


Card Float

Not sure how it got left out but float over for stats is back... expect an even bigger change with cards in the next week or so.  You can all thank Koffii for distracting me with the idea and stopping the bug fixing process.

Writers Wanted

As always we want to encourage the writers.  So why not offer an OPTION to show who wrote want.  Yes its off by default but it does show the name of the writer when we have one.  I think that is cool.

New Houses, bugs, features

Flashnovice added 2 new houses.  Yea him!  They are that easy to add.

Repeat personal job is back... it was annoying with out it.
Debug event labels are longer and now selectable so hopefully wont get any more bad events with cut off names.

Starting again...

Started again but not heavily.  Before anyone asks next release will be mid February.  Will do a few weeks on bugs and a few weeks on new content.  Going to try to go back to releasing every month.

Vegging out

So a reasonably good release only had one hickup and that was with a mirror.  It's nice that the release for once didn't have a huge crash bug.

I have a bunch of questions now that everyone has had a chance to play with the random quests, your feedback will help in guiding the direction of the game.  I can use any suggestions you have on the forum on this and any other subject.

Just need to add porn

Auction is done... it could use some polishing with the talk to the girl stuff but thats a project for another day. Everything else works fine... as far as I can tell.

All KNOWN crash bugs fixed.  Yes I think that is a good thing too.

Now just need to add the sex classes and events to go with them.

Will release in the next week.  Yay Vacation...



Auction buy and sale now work.  It needs a bit of love but all the parts are functioning.  Basically just polishing at this point.

Fixed an issue where evechange would not allow boolean changes of in game variables.... probably because it was never needed before.  In line boolean variables were always working.

Girls can now go missing... and you can hire someone to go find them and pull them back.

Adding a bunch of help for the labratory...

Vacation soon expect the next few days to be lots of updating as I do the events that are just not work safe.

Events Items

Item changes in events are handled inside the event syntax and has to options:


Item change just adds or removes items.  Syntax is eveitemchange

name = item name
add = true --- to add
remove = true --- to remove
producer = "name of the producer" -- producer name
reload = "true" -- causing the page to reload to show the item

That's about it for changes.  For checks there are a few options.

name = item name
check = true or false --- does the item exist true or false
vvar = true or false --- another option same as check but consistent with the rest of the system
girl = "whatgirl" -- 2 options "whatgirl" and "any"  (not highly tested let me know if these don't work)

Items and Content and unknown coins

Oh Yuki's Coin the simplest quest in the game designed originally to just test out quests.  The good old fetch and return quest... Damn I hate you.  Been working on it off and on for the last few days when doing content.  It showed a glaring issue.  The event system can not check for an item not existing.  The logic was just allowing for check if exists or return false.  So if it checked for not exists it still returned false.  Anyways the item system was rewrote quickly expect a walk through on how to use in the event system.  Like effects it now has specific labels for check and change rather then the mash together I went with originally.

Website Back Up

A big thank you to Tyrannus and Yamiko who have redone the website again.  This time hopefully it is malware proof.  It looks really nice so thank you guys for your hard work.

A few more hoops to jump through to register and post for that I'm sorry but it's necessary to stop the bot storm.  Also to post on the wiki you must be approved as well, which hopefully will stop the car insurance adds being added as posts.  Lots of security is good so please don't get to frustrated with the registration process.

As you can see text is writing to both the black board and the text message box.  A nice addition at the very least it's still crashing out though hopefully though will have it up and running tonight for at least the buy.

Screen about built... yah it has some issue with positioning.  Bidding text has issues, but after hours of massaging it is getting there.  I'm still hoping to release next week when I go on vacation.  What needs to be done, 2 crash bugs both I think can be fixed with the auction getting fixed.  And sex lots of sex and maybe some violence.

What can I say its the end of the world.

Still just going around adding events all worksafe personal jobs are in place now.  The auction goods screen is done (still a little to do with the talk feature all the variables work just need to figure out a way to add images of girls who don't exits...)  started work on the bid screen and got about all the actual on screen items in place (except for the actual girl).  It just goes to show I can get a lot accomplished if I play with it an hour at home plus at work.

I have no idea why but Teresa seems to become corrupted everytime she is put in the game.  They look fine to me and have tried two versions....  I don't know will keep playing with it.

Rebuilding the auction

After playing with the auction to try to get it to work so that it doesn't crash the game... decidied my time would be better spent updating it to the new standards.  Docclox's code was just too good I can't figure out how to get the screen changes to work.  So the auction is now an xml shop(sort of) and that will allow more hidden auctions later on.  Still hoping to use about 90% of Docclox's code to the actual game system.  Now then right now girls are not purchasable on the svn.  I will add a force make girl to the debug panel in the next day or 2.  Since I can only work on the auction on my off days and it will not get done tonight.
