Well, since I don't have Disgaea (yet), thought I would share a simple 'fix' for paper doll clothing.
Standard Disclaimer to follow:
This 'fix' ONLY WORKS for those of you who download Otherworld via SVN AND COMPLIE/PUBLISH via FLASH PRO. If you do NOT HAVE Flash Pro and COMPILE the game files yourself, the 'fix' will not work.
Simply un-zip to the Otherworld game folder and the files should overwrite to the correct location.
List of fixed items:
Paper_Doll Legs(probably ZP's replaced with Redcapes--Clothing are designed to only fit Redcapes's bodies)
Maid, Bunny, Cowgirl Stockings corrected offsets
Bikini and Cowgirl Panties corrected offsets
Bikini, Maid collar, Bunny Collar, Cowgirl bell, fixed so that they remove from Paperdoll when unequipped (earlier they were placed on different layers, preventing removal).
Can you make a mini guide on how to compile the game ? What files do we need and what are the steps? I have downloaded the game and all the hotfixes but the stockings are still off by about a centimeter.
BTW i found this game VIA slavemaker 3 and i was wondering if you might need help with its making? I am clueless with flash but I can work photoshop quite well and wouldn't mind getting backgrounds pics, items, girls, etc... do you guys have a forum i can sign up on?
To compile the game, Check out the 4 links below "Otherworld SVN" on the left column of the blog. These links relate to using Tortise SVN which is used to download updated files. You will also need a copy of Adobe Flash Pro ($$).
Basically, open Otherworld.as and Otherworld.fla with Adobe Flash Pro, while the .fla file is the tab in-work, use File>>Publish to compile the game.
There is a forum, it can be found by following the link "Otherworld Website" under "Otherworld Links" again, under the column on the left of this blog. Alternatively, you could follow the link under the 'TOP' of the page under the heading "Otherworld Update Log" to get to the website with the forum.
